Overview

Modena Reserve at Kensington offers an extraordinary blend of sophistication, beauty, and convenience, exceeding the level of care through outstanding staff. Part of the Solera Senior Living suite, Modena Reserve breaks down barriers between AL and IL by providing a crossover of lifestyles. This integration focuses on creating relationships and reducing ageism. The design team learned the importance of the town’s history, culture, and its connection to agriculture and rail through the input and assistance of the neighborhood and town. Although many of the homes in the town are not on the nation’s historic registry, some are historically significant to the Town of Kensington . . . this includes two homes on the property that were preserved and integrated into the new community.

A primary focus of the design team’s approach was “how to market the building for the next resident.” Interiors created eye-catching elements that pull you in and draws you to the next, coordinated colors to connecting spaces, designed tall ceilings with suspended lighting and art to add separation of space and intrigue, and developed a variety of ceiling types to keep the eyes moving.
